Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the only woman to has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive years. In 2010, she placed second. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit participant and media star is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first female winner of in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. The other accomplishments she has achieved includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie as well as her parents as well as her siblings, were born and grew up in Reykjavik Iceland. She was a keen sportsperson and began working out at when she was a young age. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively very well during the initial competitions. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 led her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she had won consecutively. Also, in 2014, she received a Silver medal and most recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has appeared as the spokesperson for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and Sidekick Yerbae.
