Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th of 1964. She was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. The age she is now is aged 58. Sandra Kolber, her mother has been named. Gene Kolber, is the father. She went to Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 graduation from the Pennsylvania's Upper Dublin High School. In 1986 she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts with a telecommunications concentration from the University of Miami. When she was still at an undergraduate level, she got an opportunity as the sports director for Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. In addition, she worked there during two years between 1984 to 1986. She was also a member of the University of Miami water skiing team during this time. In her youth Plaza took part in community theatre in her native Wilmington acting, performing improv and directed one-act plays. After graduation, she relocated in New York City after high school and studied in TV and film production at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and took classes in comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Following her graduation from high school, she relocated to New York City where she attended classes in improv in the Theatre of the U.S. Citizens Brigade and was a film and TV production student at the Tisch School of Arts. She graduated in 2006.
