Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Ali MacGraw is known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. In New York, she was born into an creative family. Beginning she began as an assistant in photography. Then she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. She won her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actor. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three films, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office worldwide. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her handprints and signature engraved. She was a part of several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was released. MacGraw was married three times.
